Third Public Exhibition - Watten

The Cogle Moss Renewables LLP team will be holding a third public exhibition in Watten at Watten Village Hall on the 2nd October 2018 between 2:00pm - 6:45pm to allow members of the public to view the amended development plans.

We are keen for as many people as possible in the local area to come along and hope that valuable feedback will be received. The feedback will then be discussed and incorporated into the project design stages as the plans progress. Comments made to Cogle Moss Renewables LLP at the event are not representations to The Highland Council. There will be an opportunity to submit comments to The Highland Council following the submission of a planning application for the proposed development. 

Planning permission granted by Scottish Government

Cogle Moss Renewables LLP is pleased to confirm that planning permission was granted on the 29th August 2017 by the Scottish Government for the development of the wind farm at Cogle Moss. 

Further Environmental Information submitted to Highland Council

 

Cogle Moss Renewables LLP submitted Further Environmental Information associated with the planning application for the Cogle Moss Wind Farm in August 2016. The submission provides further information relating to the assessment of landscape, visual and ornithological effects of the development. The documents can be viewed on The Highland Council's ePlanning website.

Planning Application submitted to Highland Council

 

Cogle Moss Renewables LLP has submitted a planning application for permission to develop a 12 turbine wind farm. Each of the wind turbines would have a generating capacity of up to 3MW and would be up to 100m to blade tip height.    

 

Electricity Generation Licence granted to Cogle Moss Renewables LLP

 

On the 3rd November 2014 Cogle Moss Renewables LLP was granted, under Section 6(1)(a) of the Electricity Act 1989, a licence to generate electricity at the proposed wind farm on Cogle Moss.
